LBUSD Cable Channels
Marketing & Media Services broadcasts LBUSD programs and information on our community cable TV channel.
- Spectrum subscribers can view the programs on channel 96 in Long Beach and Signal Hil, and channel 35 in Lakewood.
- Subscribers of FiOS TV or Frontier can view the programs on channel 47.
Cable broadcasts include public information programs, news and instructional programming, and is offered 24 hours a day.
Regular Programs Include:
Board of Education Meetings - Broadcast LIVE and in their entirety.
Parent University - Broadcast LIVE with useful information for all parents.
Podcast Series (video versions of the #ProudToBeLBUSD ongoing podcasts series).
District and School Promotional Videos - Featured content highlighting various staff, student and programs from across the district.
The Cursive Connection - Designed to teach the techniques of handwriting in a way that makes the transition from manuscript to cursive writing an easy and enjoyable experience.
Community public service announcements are broadcast on the community channel, including LBUSD Bulletin highlights, Messages from LBUSD executive staff, and other community resources.
