Enrollment Steps: Easy as 1, 2, 3

READY TO ENROLL TK - 12 grades

We're happy that you have chosen to enroll in a Long Beach Unified School. Our sites are open and willing to serve you during this process.  If you need any assistance during enrollment, please do not hesitate to reach out to our level offices: Elementary 562-997-8247, Middle /K-8 562-997-8100, or  High 562-997-8115. We are looking forward to partnering with you as we educate your child now and in to the future. Please note that if your child is currently attending or has previously attended a Long Beach Unified School you may not need to complete the on-line enrollment. Please reach out to your school of residence to inquire about your child's status.

Step 1

Parents/Guardians will need a valid email address to begin. If you do not have an email account, please create an email account from your preferred free email service provider.

Step 2

Gather pre-enrollment documents (residency verification, immunization record, and proof of age) Click the 'ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS' button above to view the required documents you will need in order to complete enrollment.

Step 3

If your child currently attends an LBUSD program such as, speech, Buffum TLC, Head Start, CDC, or has previously attended an LBUSD school please contact your school of residence to determine next steps. 

If new to LBUSD please complete our on-line enrollment - press the 'CLICK TO ENROLL TODAY' button at the top of this page.

Step 4

Contact School of Residence to make an appointment to complete enrollment. Walk ins are also welcome. Please bring in all original documents to verify and finalize enrollment. 

Paper copies of the enrollment packet are available at each school, if needed.
