Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment: LBUSD provides Dual Enrollment options at both Long Beach City College and California State University, Long Beach. The Early College model is a strategically designed educational program that enables students to earn a high school diploma alongside an associate degree, or up to two years of college credit, by taking a blend of high school and college courses.

Pathways

In Long Beach, pathways are designed to create a "school within a school" environment for students through a rigorous academic course of study, real-world learning experiences, caring adults who provide guidance and advising, and social-emotional and learning support to prepare students for college and careers.

All LBUSD pathways prepare students to meet the entry requirements for California Universities, referred to as A-G requirements, upon high school graduation. More about our Pathways

Sato Academy of Math and Science offers a pathway related to Engineering and Biomedical Sciences.

Poly Pathways

Poly High School offers pathways related to Architecture, Engineering and Computer Science, Health and Medical Technology, Business and Finance, Digital Arts, Media and Entertainment, and the CIC and PACE programs.

Renaissance Pathways

Renaissance High School for the Arts offers a pathway related to Film, Fashion, Performing and Visual Arts.
