Project Sponsors
A project sponsor is a senior management role that provides resources, support, and leadership to the project team and generally "owns" the project. This person also serves as a link between the Department Lead, Project Lead, and other decision-making groups.

Project Leads
The Department Lead is the main point of contact for day-to-day activities of the project for each Department. The Department Lead serves as the liaison between the Department Sponsors and the Project Lead. The Department Lead participates in all project related meetings.

Subject Matter Experts
A department will have multiple Subject Matter Experts based on the number of business processes within the department. This is the team member who performs the required tasks / activities as part of their job responsibilities, and will know the complete business process inputs, outputs, and dependencies.
