Office of School Support Services
Mission: To support the personal and intellectual success of every student, every day.
Vision Statement
The Office of School Support Services will deepen its commitment to equity, by embracing equity. Embracing equity will allow us to course correct some of our programs, mitigate student behaviors from a trauma-focused lens, ensure students with disabilities have access to courses and pathways in order to be college and career ready, and focus more deeply on compliance issues. By doing so, each student will be provided with a program that meets their academic, physical, social, behavioral, and emotional needs in order for them to be a contributing member of society.
By:
- Having access to pathways and courses (e.g. Linked Learning, AP courses, electives, etc.)
- Decreasing the number of black boys in ED
- Creating/offering inclusionary settings, programs and practices for each student (i.e. BIPOC, LGBTQ+, foster, homeless, etc.)
