Vision 2035 Stars Nominations
Excellence Among Your Peers!
It’s time to nominate our Vision 2035 Stars for the 2024-25 school year and celebrate the remarkable staff who exemplify the best of LBUSD! Last year, we honored those who embody our Vision 2035 Core Values; this year, we are highlighting the Vision 2035 Adult Portrait. Created by the Guiding Coalition and our broader community, the Adult Portrait outlines the qualities LBUSD adults should embody to support each student’s journey toward realizing the Graduate Portrait.
The Vision 2035 Stars employee nomination process is open from October 28 through November 22. This is your chance to recognize colleagues who exemplify the Adult Portrait elements:
- Champion for Students
- Equity-Focused Change Agent
- Positive and Resilient Professional
- Adaptable and Reflective Lifelong Learner
- Empathetic Communicator
- Empowering Facilitator of Learning
- Creative and Critical Thinker
- Community-minded and Collaborative Leader
Do you know an LBUSD certificated or classified staff member who embodies one of these elements? By nominating them, you celebrate their dedication, leadership and commitment to student success.

Throughout the Spring 2025 semester, Superintendent Baker will recognize those who best represent these elements. Selected staff will be invited to an in-person celebration in January and may also be featured in the Vision in Action Spotlight series, the School Bulletin, and on social media.
Nominations can be submitted via the Google Form link between October 28 and November 22. Take a moment to recognize a colleague who represents the best of our district. Submit your nomination today!
