Summer Intern Education Programs

Are you a high school student looking to explore a career while being paid? Internships are currently available for jobs inside and outside the district!

The Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) is excited to offer current high school students the opportunity to gain work experience across industries such as education, marketing, media, communications, public service, non-profits, and more in a professional setting.

We are seeking diverse candidates who reflect on our LBUSD community, and all high school students aged 14 or older are welcome to apply. A special emphasis will be placed on hiring students who have not yet had the opportunity to participate in an internship and who are completing 11th grade/rising seniors.

Intern positions are open and will be added to as opportunities arise. Internal LBUSD. Internships include:

• Teaching
• Afterschool Programs
• Graphic Arts
• Duplicating,
• Business Services
• Communications
• Facilities

External internships include positions with the Long Beach Symphony, MOLAA, the Aquarium of the Pacific, and the Guidance Center.
