An exhibition featuring works of art by middle school students from the Long Beach Unified School District is now open to the public at the Long Beach Museum of Art (LBMA).

The “Moments” exhibit showcases photography, video and digital artworks created by 20 students across LBUSD in response to a theme. Each piece was selected for display by judges from LBMA.

This year’s theme invited local middle school students to explore and experiment with the tools at their fingertips to reflect, reveal and reframe their realities. An opening reception was held on Oct. 28 for exhibiting middle school students from Stephens Middle School, Cubberley K-8 School and Marshall Academy of the Arts.

The exhibit is open to the public and runs through Feb. 25, 2024. Learn more at lbma.org/exhibitions.
