Renaissance Celebrates 20 Years

Recently, Renaissance High School for the Arts hosted a celebration for its 20th anniversary, during which teachers, students, and alumni gathered for musical performances, memorabilia, and art shows displayed by students in honor of its milestone. Attendees were also encouraged to wear costumes from their favorite decade or the year they graduated to celebrate.

Renaissance High focuses on comprehensive arts education, which empowers students to reach their creative potential within an inclusive environment for college and beyond. The school simultaneously challenges students to meet high academic standards by learning technical and critical thinking skills.

As a visual and performing arts magnet high school, Renaissance has provided students with the opportunity to learn from a challenging and rigorous college preparatory curriculum for the past twenty years, holding to its standard that “Success is Art.”
