Rose Van Meeveren, who serves as LBUSD’s Student Health Services Program Specialist, recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to represent California school nurses as a member of the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) Board of Directors. While in the nation’s capital, Rose and other NASN leaders met with members of Congress to highlight the important work school nurses do to support student health and well-being. Rose is the California Director on the NASN Board of Directors and also serves on the California School Nurses Organization (CSNO) State Board. The NASN Board brings together directors from every state to help ensure that all students receive the care and support they need to succeed.

We congratulate Rose on this outstanding achievement and thank her for representing our district and California school nurses at the national level.
