L.A. Times Praises LBUSD's Transparency

The Los Angeles Times editorial board praised the Long Beach Unified School District’s transparency in a Dec. 15 opinion piece.

LBUSD is among the 22% of public school employers that submitted pay information for 2021 to the state controller, stated the nation’s fifth largest newspaper.

“Credit to the school districts that did report this year, including the largest, Los Angeles Unified School District, and Long Beach Unified,” the Times noted. “The list of those that didn’t is much longer.”
