Jordan High Choir Rocks the Stage with Foreigner at Long Beach Grand Prix
Legendary rock band Foreigner and LBUSD's Jordan High School choir students gave an electric and captivating performance at the Long Beach Grand Prix concert in April.
On a cool spring night in front of the Performing Arts Center, the crowd of attendees buzzed with energy in anticipation of Foreigner's performance of their hit song alongside ten incredible Jordan choir students. Voices rang high in uniform as the song "I Wanna Know What Love Is" started to play. Lead vocalist Lou Gramm pointed to the crowd and encouraged them to join the chorus as the song echoed throughout. The crowd's energy was exhilarating, creating an unforgettable night for everyone present.
Jordan Choir members expressed the same enthusiasm, saying, "We had a great time tonight performing "I Wanna Know What Love Is "with Foreigner! We thank them for this amazing opportunity. We had a time we won't soon forget!"
Jordan High School is no stranger to performing and taking on the big stage, having previously performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City last year. This year features yet another outstanding performance that will be remembered. Congratulations to our Jordan Choir students!
