Jefferson Leadership Students Attend Bike Fest

Jefferson Leadership students recently enjoyed an energetic day of cycling as part of the Bahati Foundation’s Motion Equals Healthy Bike Fest.

Founded by champion cyclist Rahsaan Bahati, the Bahati Foundation prides itself on bringing together families, young cyclists and the local community, all while promoting health and wellness through cycling. Jefferson students participated in its 7^th Annual Bike Fest in a variety of engaging activities, including building bikes, riding on the pump track, joining group rides and touring the Olympic-level VELO Sports Center in Carson. The event was additionally filled with fun exercise challenges and rewarding prizes, ensuring an unforgettable experience for students.

The Jefferson community fully embraced the unique opportunity, offering students a dynamic group session with physical activity and wellness, and upholding its mission of building a healthy heart, mind and spirit for every student, every day.
