Jackie Robinson Academy Awarded State Literacy Grant
Jackie Robinson Academy has recently been awarded an incredible grant through California’s Literacy, Coaching, and Reading Success (LCRS) program.
LCRS aims to strengthen literacy instruction, expand support for multilingual learners, and provide targeted interventions to help students succeed. With this funding, Robinson Academy will further develop its literacy coaching and deliver focused support for students.

In addition to this state recognition, Robinson Academy was honored on Thursday, December 18, with The Salvation Army’s Hope in Action Award, along with Dr. Rebecca Ngo, Dr. Rima Aboul Hosn, and Dr. Cassandra Richards. This award recognizes outstanding leadership and dedication to advancing the Salvation Army's mission of meeting people’s needs, bringing hope to the community, and “doing the most good”.
Robinson Academy’s Principal, Dr. Ngo, voiced her gratitude for the grant at Thursday’s ceremony. “We are thrilled to hear about this additional funding through the LCRS grant program. We are honored and humbled by this recognition, and look forward to our continued partnership with the Salvation Army.”
Congratulations to Jackie Robinson Academy!
