Honoring the Women of LBUSD
We celebrate Women’s History Month and extend our deepest gratitude and admiration to the women of LBUSD. Your dedication and hard work are the backbone of our District, and your contributions uplift and inspire our students, families, and the entire community every day.
To our teachers, who shape the minds of future generations with passion and patience; to our nurses, who provide care and comfort; to our campus aides and school safety officers, who ensure a safe and welcoming environment; to our librarians, who foster a love of learning; to our counselors, who guide and support our students; and to our principals and office managers, who lead with dedication and ensure our schools run smoothly, your leadership and service are invaluable.
We also celebrate our paraeducators, who provide crucial classroom support; our administrative assistants, who keep our offices running efficiently; our food service workers, who nourish our students daily; our custodians, who maintain clean and welcoming spaces; our transportation services staff, who safely transport students to and from school each day; our instructional coaches, who empower our educators with new strategies; our special education specialists, who advocate tirelessly for every student’s needs; our technology coordinators, who ensure that our digital infrastructure supports learning; and our District leaders, who guide us with vision and dedication.
To all the women in LBUSD, we see you and celebrate your impact.
Across our classrooms, offices, schools, and community, we thank you. Your leadership, resilience, and commitment uplift our students and guide our work every day. During Women’s History Month, and throughout the year, we thank you for the countless ways you support our students, families, staff, and community.
We also appreciate the women in our broader LBUSD community, including our dedicated community members and labor partners, as well as all mothers, caregivers, and extended family members who support our students every day. Whether advocating for student success, sharing their voices at Board of Education meetings, or partnering with the District to strengthen our schools, your engagement helps ensure our work remains focused, transparent, and accountable to the community we serve.
