Fremont and Henry Elementary Named California Distinguished Schools—A Triumph Worth Shouting From the Rooftops!

Cue to confetti and roll out the red carpet—two of our Long Beach Unified schools have just been named 2025 California Distinguished Schools! Fremont Elementary and Henry Elementary have officially joined the ranks of the state’s most exceptional schools, earning this highly coveted honor for their relentless commitment to excellence, equity, and student success.

This isn’t just a recognition—it’s a standing ovation to our phenomenal students, brilliant educators, devoted staff, proud families, and the entire community who show up daily and make magic happen.
