EEP Hosts Family Leadership Institute Workshops
In October, the Office of Equity, Engagement, and Partnership (EEP) hosted the Family Leadership Institute (FLI) with nearly 80 families in attendance.
The two-day workshop, held at Browning High School, empowered families with strategies to communicate effectively with their children, schools, and communities. Participants also had opportunities to connect and engage with other LBUSD parents and guardians.
LBUSD’s FLI is part of a continuing series of workshops that provide transportation, childcare, and light refreshments, making participation accessible to all families. FLI is one of several EEP initiatives, along with Parent University, Community and Family Engagement, and Parent Groups, that offer both virtual and in-person opportunities for families to learn and grow together.
EEP is committed to building strong partnerships with families, ensuring that students have access to a high-quality education at LBUSD. Through its programs, EEP brings parents together to learn about district initiatives, share input, and collaborate on ways to support all students. By joining, parents strengthen their own leadership skills and help shape the future of our schools and community.
Together, LBUSD and families are embodying Vision 2035, united by their shared commitment to students' success.
