Early Learning and Kindergarten Festivals Begin January 7

Join us for the annual Early Learning and Kindergarten Festivals, held for families of incoming 2025-26 transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten students, beginning on January 7 through March 7, with an additional "Celebration of the Young Child" event on April 25.

These incredible, free festivals will provide families with information regarding LBUSD early learning programs and enrollment procedures. Attendees will also receive free children's books, a dental screening, and a backpack for new TK and kindergarten students, while supplies last.

The festivals are scheduled on the following days:

• (Virtual) Wednesday, Jan. 7 (View the Recorded Virtual Event: English / Spanish / Khmer)
• Saturday, January 24 at Burcham Elementary School, 5610 E. Monlaco Rd., Long Beach
• Saturday, March 7 at Dooley Elementary School,5075 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach
• Saturday, April 25, Billy Jean King Main Library & Lincoln Park, 200 W. Broadway, Long Beach, from 10am-2pm 

Registration for January 24 and March 7 events will begin at 8:45 a.m. with activities scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon.
