Cabrillo High School welcomed legal professionals to campus on April 17 for its annual Law Day, giving students real-world insight into careers in law and justice.

As part of the Cabrillo Academy of Law and Justice (CAL-J), students engaged directly with industry leaders, including Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman, who shared perspectives on the legal system and public service.

The event, aligned with this year’s theme, “The Rule of Law and the American Dream,” connected classroom learning to real-world application, reinforcing Cabrillo’s commitment to civic education and career pathways.

“Time is one of the most meaningful gifts we can share," said Principal Nguyen. “We are truly grateful to the many legal professionals who generously give their time to Cabrillo, inspiring our students and helping them envision and shape their futures.”
