School Choice Information at Education Celebration 2000

To help Long Beach Unified School District parents make informed choices about their children's education, Education Celebration 2000 will be held Saturday, January 8, at the CSULB Pyramid from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The popular school choice event brings exemplary programs from every school in the district together under one roof so parents can understand the full scope of the education available to their children and can choose school programs for them. Parents and students will be able to examine all K-8 magnet programs, Gifted and Talented Education and other options. They will also have opportunities to talk to parents and staff about what is available for their children. Free parking is available at the Atherton Street entrance.
