The Long Beach Unified School District plays a vital role in supporting students who overcome significant challenges in their lives. Many of these students demonstrate remarkable resilience in the face of adversity.

To celebrate their achievements, LBUSD recognizes a Most Inspiring Student from every school, each spring. Principals and/or staff nominate a student to represent their school. LBUSD honors students and their families, highlighting their perseverance and determination. It serves as a powerful reminder of their inspiring journeys, providing these remarkable individuals with recognition and reinforcing their role as positive role models in the LBUSD community.
