The EONA (Educational Opportunities for Native Americans) program is a part of the Office of Equity, Access, College and Career Readiness of the Long Beach Unified School District and is authorized and funded under Title VII of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). It provides learning support to Native American Students.
The EONA program’s primary purpose is to meet the special educational and culturally related academic needs of Native American students (K-12) enrolled in the schools of the district.
Grant funds provide a variety of support services, such as: tutoring sessions, extra supplies, and learning materials.
