Equity, Engagement & Partnerships Translation Unit
The Translation and Interpretation Unit is available to provide support and language assistance for Interpretation (oral) or Translation (written) needs. Language serves as a bridge between cultures and is a tool for communication. In order to ensure that all stakeholders are fully able to participate, we fulfill requests for (oral) Interpretation (e.g., IEPs, parent/teacher conferences, Board meetings, etc.) and for Translation of written materials.
Requests for Interpretation (oral) or Translation (written documents) should be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance.
Translation (Written Document) Request
If you have additional questions or require support please contact the Office of Equity, Engagement and Partnerships at (562) 997-8327 or email translations@lbschools.net (As we transition to a new request system, please note, beginning October 11, 2021 this email will no longer be used to accept requests for translation or interpretation.)
