Tentative Agreement Reached Between LBUSD and TALB

Bargaining teams for the Long Beach Unified School District and the Teachers Association of Long Beach met today and successfully reached a tentative agreement on a three-year contract. We recognize the dedication and collaboration of both teams in coming to this agreement. Details regarding the tentative agreement will be provided in a future update.

What are the next steps?

The next step in the process is for TALB’s Executive Board to consider approval of the tentative agreement and establish dates for the ratification vote by the membership. If ratified, the agreement will be presented to the LBUSD Board of Education for final approval.
