Negotiations Continue with TALB

On Wednesday, May 14, the bargaining teams for the Long Beach Unified School District and TALB held their seventh bargaining session for the 2024-2025 school year. During this full-day session, teams continued to make progress in negotiations through productive discussions regarding several articles and provisions of the contract.

The District remains committed to working collaboratively with TALB to reach a successor agreement. At the next session, teams will address remaining proposals, including transfers, days and hours, mandated training, association rights, dual enrollment protocols, and inclusive teaching programs. 

Teams are scheduled to meet on May 29 for the next bargaining session.
