TALB Bargaining Session Update

On Thursday, February 6, the bargaining teams for the Long Beach Unified School District and TALB held their second bargaining session. During the full-day session, teams finalized ground rules, and presented proposals related to the following Articles:

• TALB: Presented new proposals regarding Article VI & IX, Appendix D and a Compensation-related MOU.
• District:  Presented new proposals for Articles V, VIII, X, XI, and XII.

The teams also presented counter proposals addressing language shared at today’s session as well as the previous session regarding the following articles:

• TALB: Articles V, VI, VIII, X, XI, XII.
• District:  Article IV, VI, IX and Appendix D.

The District looks forward to working with TALB to reach a successor agreement. Upcoming bargaining dates:

• February 14, 2025
• March 10, 2025
• March 24, 2025
