LBUSD and CSEA Unit B Bargaining Update

On Wednesday, June 4, the bargaining teams for the Long Beach Unified School District and CSEA Unit B met for the second time. During this session, teams continued to exchange and discuss proposals regarding the following topics: 

• association rights
• new employee orientation
• release time for chapter business
• professional development
• procedures for addressing overpayments and underpayments

The District looks forward to working with CSEA Unit B to reach a successor agreement.
