Updated Raise Schedule for Eligible Employees

Members of the Teachers Association of Long Beach and non-represented employees received 1% retroactive payment on May 7 for 2019-20. Additional upcoming payment for these employees will include:

• June 4 – 2% retroactive check for 2020-21 (covering July 2020 to May 2021)
• June 30 – regular paychecks will include ongoing raises
• September – off-schedule check, which is 2% of an employee’s earnings from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021

The school district continues to negotiate with the local chapter of the California School Employees Association and will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.
