Do you have your Preliminary Teaching Credential?

Are you looking to enroll and complete your Professional Clear Teaching Credential?

Good news!  Long Beach Unified School District offers a California State Accredited Professional Clear Teaching Credential Program free of charge to any TK-12 general education and education specialist contracted teacher. State law requires teachers to enter into an Induction Program within their first year of teaching under a preliminary credential.

Admission Requirements:

  • Pre-K - 12 general education teacher or education specialist (mild-moderate/moderate-severe), currently the teacher of record, with Long Beach Unified School District

How to Enroll:

  • Once you have signed a teaching contract with Long Beach Unified School District, you will be notified by our Induction Coordinator to start the enrollment process.
