Alan Reising, business services administrator for the Long Beach Unified School District, was recently appointed as Chair of the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH). As described on the CASH website, the coalition “has over 1,200 members and is the preeminent statewide organization representing school facility professionals in both the public and private sectors.” Through its advocacy efforts, the organization is dedicated to ensuring California students have access to quality, safe and healthy environments that foster learning and success. Reising will serve as chairman of the organization for the next two years.
