Nader Twal, program administrator in the Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development, has been elected to the international Learning Forward Board of Trustees. Learning Forward is a worldwide association of educators devoted exclusively to establishing and sustaining highly effective professional learning. Twal and his LBUSD colleagues have partnered with Learning Forward in the past, including on multiple series of podcasts addressing topics such as collaborative professionalism, equity and excellence.
