Growth Mindset: A scientific theory that says intellectual ability can increase with hard work and actively trying new strategies.
Self-regulation: Is the ability to monitor and control our own behavior, emotions, or thoughts, altering them in accordance with the demands of the situation.
Identity: Students explore their culture, language and sense of belonging through arts projects and facilitated discussions.
Ethics/Values: An exploration of values and citizenship through the lenses of the Rotary Club’s 4 way test: Is it the Truth?/Is It Fair to All Concerned?/Will It Build Good Will and Better Friendships?/Will It Be Beneficial to All Concerned?
Students also complete a community service project.
Collaboration: An ability to perform effectively on a team and complete a group task.
