As a Brand and Consumer Engagement company, PICKL leads the way for brands to engage with their customers. PICKL is based in downtown Long Beach and enjoys working with interns for the past 2.5 years.

This is a virtual internship with multiple positions available. Interns will need a computer with camera to work for PICKL every shift. A cell phone with video is not appropriate. Interns will receive mentorship from innovative team members of the company, will learn about various aspects of operating a business, and will have the opportunity to take risks and try what they are passionate about. 

Interns will:

• Assist in developing marketing materials

• Conduct research to analyze trends and identify opportunities for clients/customers

• Assist with managing social media and website

• Support various projects and initiatives

• Conduct community outreach to shoppers and brands

• Create content for marketing and promotional materials

• Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation Eligibility - Pacific Gateway: Pacific Gateway’s Youth @ Work Program offers eligible students $15/hour for up to 120 hours (20-hour orientation/training plus 100 hours on-site). To qualify, you must meet one of the following eligibility requirements: low income, family receives CalWORKs cash assistance, current or former Foster Youth, homeless, justice involved, pregnant or parenting. If you're unsure, go ahead and complete the youth program interest form below and Pacific Gateway will check your eligibility status.

   At the end of the interest form, you must indicate that you're interested in interning with PICKL. 

If you are selected for the position, you must participate in a paid, mandatory 20-hour work readiness training before you can start your internship. The tentative start date on-site is July 20, 2022.
