The Office of Multimedia Services provides cutting edge media technology to support the needs of the Long Beach Unified School District. Under the direction of Program facilitator, Ray Sharp, Multimedia Services provides several creative communications services including:

  • Operation of LBUSD cable TV channels 24 in Long Beach and 35 in Lakewood.

  • Production of LBUSD television programs such as ed.news, ed.sports, The Forum, The Message, and Every Student, Every Day.

  • Graphic arts production

  • Video, animation and multimedia production

  • LBUSD film circulation library

  • Media production seminars

    The Office of Multimedia Services plays a critical role in the marketing and communication needs of our large, urban district.

    With an emphasis on service, OMS strategically integrates its multimedia resources to support the district's increasing technological delivery of resources in the areas of programming, engineering, graphics, and marketing of sites and programs to a discriminating public.

    Due to budget cuts we WILL NOT be renewing our RETAC contract next year. This may affect the availability of some of your favorite titles. A preliminary list of series which will no longer be available is located here:
