Dear Parents,

 

We invite you to Millikan’s Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, October 4, 2006. During the evening you will have an opportunity to visit the classes that your student attends each day, meet the teachers, and have a brief overview of the instructional program. The evening is structured so that you will move through all scheduled classes. A student’s schedule consists of six or seven classes so please be sure to check your student’s schedule.

 

Since you will be following a bell schedule, there will not be time for individual conferences with teachers. However, if you desire a conference with a teacher, each teacher will have a sign-in sheet available in the classroom for you to schedule an appointment.

 

There will be food and refreshments available for purchase in the quad from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 

There will be a short PTSA meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria followed by classroom visitations at 6:00 p.m. Your membership in the PTSA would be appreciated.

 

Please join us on October 4. We are looking forward to meeting you and creating a partnership that will benefit your student. If you are unable to secure childcare for your youngsters (elementary age and younger), feel free to bring them with you.
