Hello Millikan Family and
Friends,
I wanted to write a quick
e-mail to welcome you back to the 2005/06 school year. This is a special year for all of us
since it is our 50th Anniversary. Our theme for the year is “Go For The Gold.”
Millikan co-principal,
Karen Brinkman, has accepted a new position in the District. During the September 6th
School Board meeting, Don Keller, was appointed to act as the new co-principal
of Millikan High School. Mr.
Keller’s past assignment was principal of Stanford Middle School. He will transition into his new
position over the next two weeks.
Welcome to Mr. Keller, you’re going to enjoy RAMHI.
On our first day of school
this year we tried something new.
We had an all school pep-rally in the football stadium. It was our attempt to set the tone for
our 50th Anniversary.
The band played, the cheerleaders cheered, the football team captains
spoke and the students enjoyed the rally.
This promises to be a
great year and we are excited to get started. Best wishes for the school year and welcome back. Remember that we need your support so
please join the PTSA. A team
approach between the home and the school is the most effective way to serve our
students.
Best wishes,
Jeff
