Seasons Greetings,

I wanted to congratulate Ms. Annes and Mr. Harvey for the wonderful Holiday Concert they produced. The same presentation was given last night for the parents and families of the performers and today for our student body. The students of the Orchestra, Vocal Ensemble, Advanced Dance, Jazz Ensemble, Concert Choir, Intermediate Dance, Vocal Motion and Vox did an outstanding job entertaining nearly three thousand Millikan students during the two assemblies. The students in the audience were very well behaved and seemed to appreciate the experience. Great Job!

Yesterday, we had visitors from the Bay Area who came to visit Millikan and assess our smaller learning communities. The outside evaluators met with both student and teacher representatives of our various smaller learning communities. One of the evaluators, Mr. Baker, told me at the end of the visit that it was a pleasure to come to Millikan and see the progress that our school has made with our learning communities. I believe that we will pass our review with flying colors. My hat is off to Ms. Debbie Mrazik for all she did to prepare for this visit, and thanks to all of you for your hard work and continuing effort.
