1.   Meeting called to order at 3:08

3. Discussion Items

A.   Budget

·      Instructional supply monies will be dispensed

·      Sandy Lucas will divide monies by same formula used since 1992

B.    LCD projector bulbs

·      Sandy Lucas contacted Help Desk (#7500) and they are replacing her bulb for free. Suggestion is to try and get bulbs replaced for free.

C.    Teacher Aide Proposals

·      Don is seeking closure and suggestions on how to proceed

·      Suggestions:

Ø    Chart in counseling office for organization.

Ø    Would need one month to set up such a chart

·      Judy V. wanted to know if this is a problem. What is the rationale?

Ø    Discussion

·      Don K. wants a check vote on th 8 proposals submitted by the subcommittee. This process limted the # of proposals.

D.   Re-admits

·      2nd semester MHS wil be able to have re-admits

·      Details are still being worked out at this time

·      K. Irving shared data from last four years and there is not a significant difference in the numbr of absences over the last four years

·      V. Hernandez had questions about students and non-attendance (LBPD & SARB)

·      There was discussion on percentages and actual numbers of attendance

E.    CAHSEE Testing

·      Information shared in an e-mail sent today from D. Keller

F. Principals’ Information – none

G. Other

·      Vicky H. recommended

Ø    D. Harper and D. Shawver be on the budget sub-committee

Ø    Site Council Minutes be posted on the web

Ø    Telephones are not working properly – we need satellite telephones
