Being part of the Quest Parent Committee (QPC) helps your student in many important ways. You also have the opportunity to share and gather information from other parents of students in the QUEST program. Through networking, families are better able to advise their teenager about opportunities this unique program offers.
Another way that QUEST parents and students benefit from becoming involved in the QPC is the fundraising opportunities to offset the cost of QUEST field trips and other expenses. All QUEST students have an account, managed by the QPC Treasurer. Any money earned by fundraising or through donations by family or friends will be held in these accounts for grade level field trips, AP test fees, senior prom tickets, Grad Nite tickets, and senior banquet tickets. The Quest Parent Committee also plans the senior banquet and gives senior scholarships.
Several general membership meetings will be held during the school year. Board members include officers and grade level representatives (parents representing each grade level) who will meet regularly to plan committee activities for the school year.
We encourage all QUEST families to join our parent committee. A $5.00 membership fee will help us recover any costs incurred for photocopying and any mailing during the year.
