Job Training Classes
for High School Students
|
 |
|

|
The Long Beach School for Adults is a
great place to get started if you are seeking to develop new job
skills, or are looking to further develop/strengthen the current
workplace skills that you already have. Some of the courses are short-term (nine
to eighteen weeks in length), and some of the courses
are longer term (up to two semesters long). See specific course
descriptions and course pages for details.
Make sure to speak with your School
Counselor to see which courses match your current interests and will
work with your class schedule. |

High
school students have priority in Job Training class enrollment and
registration.
2.

|
Other Policies |
 |
|
1.
Students must furnish their own transportation to the selected class
and/or other training facilities.
2.
No
high school credit can be earned if the student attends less than
one semester, unless the class is specified as a quarter-long class.
3.
Class times and locations are subject to change.
