Adults are welcome to enroll by visiting the Long Beach School for
Adults Job Training Office, Room B-1 (hours: Mon - Fri, 9:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m.)
2.
An
enrollment fee, which varies per class, will be charged. This is due
upon enrollment.
3.
The
Long Beach School for Adults accepts cash and Visa/MasterCard.
4.
Purchase of a book and/or uniform or other materials may be
required.
5.
No
refunds will be given after the second class meeting.
6.
Enrollment is on a first-come,
first-served basis. Completion of the application
form does not guarantee a place in the class. Adult students must
pay a fee and attend the first class session
to complete enrollment.
7.
Any
class that has not attained a minimum enrollment of 25 by the end of
the first week may be canceled. Classes that regularly fall below 20
in attendance may be canceled at any time. If a class is cancelled
within the first week, students may transfer to another LBSA class
and pay the difference in fee depending on space availability.
8.
Any
student who does not qualify to be placed out at the time of
internship (if an internship or site placement is a part of the
course) or is dismissed from the placement site because of poor
attendance/conduct may be dropped from the class.
9.
Students must furnish their own transportation to the selected class
and/or other training facilities. |
