Founded in 1913
as part of the Long Beach Unified School District, the Long Beach
School for Adults (LBSA) is fully accredited by the Western
Association of Schools and Colleges. Each year at LBSA, over one
thousand students earn either their high school diploma or their
GED
certificates through LBSA programs.
The Long Beach School for Adults,
through its two campus locations, also
offers a full compliment of English as a Second Language Language
(ESL) courses, solid computer education
and job skills courses, a
state-recognized adult literacy
program, an excellent GED Testing and
GED preparation program, various
special and personal interest
classes, and so much more.
