Messsage from the Superintendent:

“Many of you may recall that we began our Strategic Planning process in 2006 with the establishment of our school district’s vision, mission, goals and initiatives.  It was the beginning of an effort that will shape our district’s actions for many years to come as we strive to improve employee satisfaction, communicate more effectively and boost student performance.  We have since formed goal teams, which are led by members of our executive staff.  The goal teams represent a broad cross-section of our district team, including teachers, site administrators, other district employees and management, as well as community partners and representatives of TALB and CSEA bargaining units.

As outlined in our Annual Report to the Community, each goal has initiatives, action plans, strategies and next steps.  The strategies outlined in the report are not all inclusive, but they represent the major initiatives that are being implemented through 2011.  Success in achieving our vision is largely dependent upon our ability to focus efforts and resources on our strategic priorities, as outlined in our plan.  Our successes come from the combined efforts of our employees, parents, community and partners.  Together we have worked diligently to ensure the success of “Every Student, Every Day.”
