Summer School Information

Summer School Employment is only available to current 10-month employees of LBUSD.  The CSEA contract states that all applications must be received in March for summer employment.

Summer application

The application deadline for all classified employees is Friday, March 19, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. 

Personnel Commission has been informed that there will be no general education summer school at the elementary or middle school levels.  General education classes will only be held at the high school level.  Extended school year (ESY) is being offered for Special Education students at the elementary and middle school levels.

Elementary School:  June 28 - July 23, 2010   Barton, Carver, Keller

Middle School:           June 28 - July 23, 2010  Hill

High School:              June 28 - July 30, 2010   Cabrillo, Jordan Academy, Lakewood,                                                                                      Millikan, Poly and Wilson

All levels will have summer school Monday - Friday.

No school on Monday, July 5th.

If you are an Exempt employee, please check with your site or department regarding summer employment. 

Substitute or exempt employees will not be considered for Summer employment in Operations to work as Custodians.
