Training and Resources

Orientation trainings and support sessions will be offered throughout the school year.  Every mentor will be given a Mentoring Moments Resource Binder containing information and resources to assist in achieving program goals.  In addition, mentors will be given a “Suggested Activities Timeline” that outlines what to do during meetings with students.

Each school has a liaison (typically a counselor) who will be the link between you and the student.  They are there to assist and support you, and can inform you of key opportunity areas for your mentee.
