About Mentoring Moments

Mentoring Moments is a mentoring program specifically developed to better prepare middle school students for high school and beyond.  In collaboration with school sites, mentors will work with middle school students to achieve the following four goals:

1. Increase academic achievement levels and provide student support
2. Adopt and implement strategies for success
3. Build career and college awareness and readiness
4. Help connect students to school and increase student retention

Superintendent Chris Steinhauser says “Mentoring is one of the most rewarding and effective ways to make a huge difference in a young life.  I encourage you to give it a try.  There is no greater gift to our children.”  Please consider mentoring if you are interested in making a difference in a student’s life and helping the school district achieve its mission of supporting the personal and intellectual success of every student every day.
