Pacing charts are used to help teachers pace their instruction so they can make sure they teach all of the essential information in a given course of study. Pacing Charts serve to give, especially for new teachers, a sense of how long to spend on a given series of lessons or units. Usually, a pacing chart is created for the teacher.
