CAMS Wows Pros In Robotics Competition

At a recent robotics competition, California Academy of Math and Science students earned the highest score among high schools and beat five of 10 teams fielded by Northrup Grumman engineers. The competition, called the "Half-Pipe Hustle," determined which team could best control its robot by maneuvering it on a sloped playing field to pick up the most balls and place them in a basket. The first place Northrup Grumman team donated their prizes – iPod Shuffles – to the winning high school team from CAMS.
