Event Offers College, Career Help

Thousands of students and parents are expected to make the annual migration to Long Beach Unified School District's 33rd Annual Career/College Exploration Night. It will be held at the Pyramid at California State University Long Beach Wednesday, November 3 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Representatives from more than 175 colleges, universities, businesses and public agencies from throughout the nation will be in attendance to discuss possible career and college opportunities with students and parents. The program is open to students in grades 9 through 12 and their families. Free bus transportation will be available at Cabrillo, Jordan and Renaissance high schools.
