More than 1,200 excited young science students from 60 schools will display their schools’ best science projects at the 9th annual district-wide Science Fair on Saturday, April 24, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cabrillo High School.
What makes the fair so meaningful for the students is the reviewing process. The review is a learning experience for students, allowing them to share their work, receive positive feedback, and answer questions about their projects. This simple validation and encouragement from a respected adult in the community provides a boost to these students that they remember for many years.
Reviewers are needed. To volunteer, contact the Science Office at 997-8000, ext. 2964.
